Leisure Facilities

Old Mill Cottage is blessed with superb adjacent leisure facilities including a swimming pool, with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. There is fully equipped gym. There is a games room with a pool table, table tennis table, table football and air hockey. The outside facilities include a tennis court, putting green and trampoline. Adjoining the cottage is a large garden with a Wendy house, some ride on toys and picnic tables and BBQ facilities.

Breamish Valley cottage who run the leisure facilities have recently opened "The Bosk" offering coffee and handmade cakes, lunches, and evening meals and are currently open Wednesdays, through to Sundays. You can try their Big Bosk Breakfast.

There is direct access to Branton Lakes and nature conservation area which is a 29 hectare site, previously sand and gravel quarry. The site has two lakes with surrounding grassland and habitats for nesting birds and other wildlife. The reserve attracts a large amount of wildlife, including more than 150 different bird species. There are footpaths around the lakes and a bird hide.
